Provider Considerations for Engaging in COVID-19 Vaccine Counseling With Pregnant and Lactating Patients

SMFM recommends that pregnant and lactating people be vaccinated against COVID19. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  (CDC) state that “COVID-19 vaccination is recommended for all people aged 12 years and older, including people who are pregnant, lactating, trying to get pregnant now, or might become pregnant in the future.”
